ARTIST'S LIVE/WORK LOFT STYLE SPACE FOR SALE IN RURAL OREGON
604 MAIN ST COVE, OREGON
It looks small in this photo but this storefront is 40'x50', with a small shed on the back, it is a little over 2000 sq ft. Built in 1926, the cement blocks were created in forms on the spot and every block is unique. I believe it was built as a garage, Gardner's General Store took over and then it became the Cove Store until 25 years ago. I can't tell you how many people have told me about going there for ice cream cones when they were kids! It is zoned both commercial and residential. THIS IS THE ONLY STOREFRONT AVAILABLE IN COVE. It was bare bones cement when Kirby and I bought it in 2006. We lived in it the first 6 months while we transformed it into its' current state of beauty. It was a true challenge but we survived. The porch overhang is a blessing, designed perfectly it keeps the sun out in the summer and allows the sun to stream in during the Winter.
